We hosted our second Wedding Weekend full of design classes, led by team member Krista. We kicked it off Friday afternoon with a Wine & Floral Design Bouquet Class.
Guest instructor Brian Vetter, AAF, AzMF, AIFD, PCFI showed the class how to create 2 different styles of bouquets using the same flowers!
We hosted our second Flower Badge Design Class exclusively for Junior Girl Scouts. Arizona Flower Market is a new Program Partner of the Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council.
It was a busy Saturday in the Flower Market! Not only did we host our Holiday Open House, we also had a Design Class led by local designer Brian Vetter, AAF, AzMF, AIFD, PCFI.
Our 5th annual Flowers for Food Donation Drive benefiting St. Vincent de Paul was a huge success! We gathered a ton of food and everyone that donated received 2 free bunches of sunflowers.
Team member Krista showed the class how to hand tie garlands using beautiful, fragrant greens.

We hosted a private design class for Wounded Warriors Support members.
We partnered with Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council to offer a Flower Badge Workshop to juniors. The girls completed several activities including making their own floral crowns and leis! When all was said & done, each girl had earned her official Flower Badge and they got a florists apron to keep.
We continued our beloved annual tradition with our 5th Halloween Open House event! The kids all got goody bags filled with treats and got more candy as they made their way through the Market. The pumpkin decorating station was a hit! Selfies were taken with costumed characters.
Our Wine & Floral Design Series continues with our Wedding Centerpiece Design Class! Team member Krista led this class focused on the ever important Wedding Centerpiece. Whether you’re wanting an all floral type of centerpiece or a mix of floral/non-floral, stunning wedding centerpieces are one of the easiest ways to elevate your wedding reception.
Our annual event, Petal it Forward Free Flower Giveaway broke records! It was the best attended one yet. This was our 5th year participating in this nationwide movement in the floral industry. Florist from almost every state participate every year. Petal it Forward is the floral industry’s take on “pay it forward.”
Nothing gets you into the Fall spirit quite like pumpkins. For many, fall is their favorite season. Well known local designer Brian Vetter, AAF, AzMF, AIFD, PCFI, walked the class through the design process of arranging in a real pumpkin! The quintessential fall favorite.
Our Wine & Floral Design: Fall Wreath Class really got the students in the fall mood. The students were shown step-by-step how to create a fall themed wreath that will naturally dry and adorn their front door for the entire fall season!
We created our kids desigfn class as something different to do with the kids that’s really interactive, educational, fun and does not include a device! Parents let their kids creativity loose with this basic design class. Team member Krista taught the kids about proper floral pres & design as they followed along & put together these super cute arrangements.
Our bridal bouquet design classes are among the most popular we offer and this class was no different. Designer Krista leadher class through several popular DIY bouquet designs. inlcuding hand tied. This style bouquet, also known as the posy, is one of the simplest and most popular styles of bridal bouquet.
After a long, hot summer, guest instructor Brian Vetter AAF, AzMF, AIFD, PCFI, helped his class rush fall, trick the thermostat and get a jump start on that brisk fall feeling.
Our Wine & Design Series continued as we looked forward to cooler weather and the fun fall season. Team lead Rheanna walked her class through the basic principles of floral design including: proportion, scale, harmony, rhythm, balance, unity and emphasis.
